Of course its a big overpayment. Winnipeg needs to overpay people if the "reward" for signing is you have to live in Winnipeg.

For me the term is too long for the 4 million a year. # years would have been better for him. But he is also Brodies age IIRC so taking one year off of UFA isn't a bad thing.
