Former Saskatoon Blades players Rhett Warrener and Kelly Chase, plus Calgary-based promoter/businessman Andy McCreath, are part of another group interested in buying the WHL club.
Warrener categorized their position as not being "at the head of the list" in an interview Wednesday.
It's not known if there are any other interested groups at this time.
"I've talked to Jack many times and I'd love to buy the Saskatoon Blades and so, I would assume, would 10 other people," said Priestner. "That's all I can say. We're definitely talking. Nothing's finalized."
