Default Teens chase kidnapping suspect on bikes, save 5-year-old girl

Pretty cool, good for them and thankful for safety of the little girl. Wish more of these incidents ended this way.

http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/15/justic...html?hpt=hp_t2

Two teenage boys are being hailed as heroes after they chased a car carrying a kidnapped girl -- on their bicycles.

The two teens chased the alleged kidnapper on their bikes for 15 heart-pounding minutes. The driver apparently knew he was being followed and gave up.

"He stopped at the end of the hill and let her out, and she ran to me and said that she needed her mom," Temar said.

Brave act, but incredibly lucky that this guy wasn't committed to the crime. It wouldn't take much for us to read a story about a couple of dead teens.

Thank god it turned out like it did.

A car couldn't get away from two bicycles?

A man, 50 to 70 yo with a limp, who couldn't shake 2 kids on bikes with his car? My money's on the kids.

Good on them.

Even at that age it wouldn't take much for him to plow over those kids with his car.

It shouldn't have taken him much to get away from them but apparently he couldn't even do that.

Good on the boys but she was gone for 2 hours before being found? a block and a half from home? Still too many questions.
