How many countries have you been to and what were/are they?
My kid is doing a project for geography comparing the travel habits of Canadians compared to those of Americans. The general consensus is that Canadians travel much more than Americans, especially during their College/University years. Any input from Canadians would be helpful- How many countries have you visited and what were they? Also, if you could name the different states/provinces you've been in, that would be helpful. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

This is kinda easy to find out and asking on a forum would not give you any valid results. The sample size is way too small. Otherwise, this would be a fun thread.

He is taking samples from KU and KU alumni, and he is simply going to compare the first 200 answers from Americans and from Canadians. It's just an 8th grade project to learn about travel, it's not a scientific experiment. He will have to discuss his findings and see if there is any correlations with what countries Canadians have visited opposed to Americans, and how many countries in total, etc. So far he has 170 responses from KU students and alumni. Many of them have been to several states but have never left the country.

If you mean countries that we actually visited and spent time in (and not just time in the airport or driving through), then for me it would be 7 (but I have been to them all numerous times, with the exception of Netherlands):
Croatia
Bosnia
Slovenia
Italy
Mexico
US
Netherlands
In Canada (8):
BC, Yukon, NWT, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec
In the US (6):
Washington, Minnesota, North Dakota, Michigan, New York, Alaska

The CRA is watching....you dont admit to having gone there....
Just like you have to be really clear about why you've gone to Thailand....
