Columbus should be dangerous next year, depending on bobrovsky thought. Add gaborik for a full season, Horton, and the 2nd overall from last year... Looks good.

I know a lot of people dislike Horton around here, but I think that is a fair deal for the kind of player he is. If the Flames were in a different situation right now, I would take him for that.

Term is long but cash is pretty good.
Better hope he can stay healthy though, and you really need to make the playoffs in order for this to be worth it.
Seems that is when Horton is most effective, hasn't been good in the regular season recently.

Ridiculous...it's deals like this that make potential UFA's to not re-up with the current team, or just sign one year deals.
The hype that their agents can feed the talking heads in a poor UFA class get these guys paid.
