I was hoping the Flames were going to drop enough in the standings for us to get this guy because I get the feeling he's going to be one of my favorite players to watch.
Before the draft took place, I said; " looking back on this draft in 5 years time, Drouin will be the most point productive player takin in is class. " I stick to my word.
Almost everyone called him one of the higher pure skill prospects this draft. If it wasn't for him being a winger, and his smaller stature, pretty sure he'd be a #1 pick most years.

Nothing that impressive in the video. Sure a couple nice dekes but a ton of players can do that against green prospects and no opposing players pressuring them. He's a great talent though.

I'm hoping you say that as someone who's been at both days of our camp and seen a lot better performances from our guys.
