Flip Flopped back and forth and then after reading this small tidbit on Hockey Future for Curtis Lazar I was sold.
Will work his way onto a pro roster. A battler, power forward in the mold of a Milan Lucic. Very good offensive skills. Leadership skills in spades.

this is tough; went with Morrissey, but Lazar and Erne were tough to pass up. Hope that Hartman or Compher are there at 28

I thought long and hard about Lazar but went with the more talented Zykov while hoping Petan is available at 28.

I put down for Zykov. It'd be nice to have an already decently-sized, skilled forward with tenacity and a good work ethic to help stock up our right side up front. If we can't get a Barkov, let's at least try to snag a Zykov, no?

Flames should trade their #22 and #28 (along with a veteran forward if necessary) for a higher pick. IMHO having #6 and, say #12 in this deep draft would be more valuable than what we have at the moment.
