Tyler Seguin on the trade block
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie 11s Not 100 per cent yet but looks like Nathan Horton will NOT be back with BOS. B's talking trade and Tyler Seguin's name has been discussed.
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 1m Love the Seguin speculation. His name is absolutely in play. Bruins with so many unsigned guys. "Kings ransom" expected.

Would love to have Seguin, but the cost to acquire would really sting for an asset poor team like the Flames.

Wow, sure would be sweet if the Bruins were in love with someone at #6, and not having the cap room for Lucic, Seguin and Horton, felt they could afford to give up Seguin for it.

My proposal in the other thread:
To Flames
Rights to Horton
Seguin
60th
To Bruins
Rights to Backlund
Stempniak
22nd
28th
Gaudreau
Maybe Boston adds Kohklachev??

This is kind of player hopefully Feaster is all in for. Seguin is the franchise C we need and he's a winner with 2 trips to Finals already.

Had an idea!

Why would they give him up? Franchise center in the making. Based on this past year where he struggled with the offense, it was obvious he will do whatever else he can to win.

Not a chance in hell Boston would do it.
They are not selling low on Seguin. If they are trading him its because they can sell high.
It would take at least #6, Gaudreau and Glencross. I am not sure that even gets it done.

Boston doesn't need to add anything.

No way Boston does that. It would have to be 6, Gaudreau and Gio. Boston won't trade a potential franchise center for a package like that.

I'll be shocked if the B's throw away another #1 C ala Joe Thornton, but the thought of Seguin in a Flames jersey is mouth watering. I know it's not gonna happen, but damn.

I would prefer to not give up as much and ignore trying to get rights to Horton. Not a good fit for Flames and where they are in terms of development.

Yeah, Seguin is one thing, but just say no to Horton. Not the type of guy we need right now.

Whatever the cost is to land Seguin you do it. Nobody is untouchable.
