Grand juries across California have indicted 40 pilots for fraud after they falsified medical records to hide disabilities like schizophrenia and severe heart problems that would have grounded them, federal officials said on Monday..

Would scare the crap out of me knowing my pilot was a schizo....well I guess it would depend on what his alter ego was!

obviously you guys don't know too many pilots...

it's the hard road of being a bush pilot for ten years, making $30k if you're lucky, working 14 hour days, flying guys around that make six figures, that turns lots of em into boozers etc.

the real freaky thing aboot pilots / flying is the 'incident reports' they get, wow that is some stuff passengers don't want to read!

I took a Ryaniar flight from Stansted to Eindhoven this spring and my pilot's name was Slobodan. And here I thought he was already in Holland languishing in prison, but I guess not!

One of the RyanAir planes I flew on in Europe was one an old 707 they had bought off the Saudis... all the emergency instructions were in Arabic.

Dont worry...Air Canada Pilots dont make enuff to have bad habits. Now I dont know if they are bi-polar or not though!.
