Don Baizley passes away
Arguably one of the most respected hockey people in the last 40 years died at 71 last night.
As a lawyer, who was a past president of the Manitoba Bar, he never solicited one player as a player agent. Yet,he accumulated an incredible and elite collection of players.
Anders Hedberg, Ulf Nilsson, Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg, Paul Kariya, Theo Fleury, Patrick Marleau, Teemu Selanne, Gary Suter....to name a few.
Great man.
He will be missed.
