Several years ago I recall CBC not wanting to pay Ron Maclean and there was a public outcry and they payed up, and I seem to remember the figure that was thrown out there was 150-175k.
Am I wrong or wouldn't TSN have him if they were paying others 250k?

Ron Maclean makes close to 500k and other than the playoffs works about once a week for 7 months!

Yeah I know there's the behind the scenes work

Never really liked Cybulski on TV after he left The Score...always appeared to try to hard to be funny or witty or sarcastic when he was on TV on TSN.
Though I guess he's done a lot of radio with them now. Though paired with Don Taylor and SN Pacific crew, may still come across in the same way.

I agree. I'm sure he is a nice guy, but his on-air personality comes off as fake and uncharacteristic. Tries really hard to emulate Onrait and doesn't have the wit or charisma to pull it off. He needs to find what works for him and be his own.

Never liked Cybulski. He acts very fake. He belongs on Much TV.
