Quick Benefits Question

Just a quick question, I have benefits with manulife and I've added a dependant. I got the extra cards and they're all in my name

I'm assuming since its my plan its just always in my name, but I'm just making sure that its not supposed to be my common-laws name on the card, right?

She should have her own card with her name on it. It will have the same policy number, and ID number.

Only the primary insured shows up on the card. I have had two or three different cards and they all worked the same way

I have my own card from my work's benefits with my name on it. My spouse has benefits from my work with her name on the card.

She also has benefits from her work- so I also have a card from her benefits with my name on it and she has a card from her benefits with her name.

We are with dejarden and only the primary persons name is on all of the cards. The dependant names are not listed

We are at Sun Life. My name appears on my card as well as my wife's

I'm with RWAM through work, my name is under "Employee", and my wife's is on the bottom in smaller letters under "Spouse". Both of our cards are identical.

I am in the group insurance industry (some days it is so much fun, I fail to understand why they pay me) and this type of stuff varies by the insurance company/plan administrator. Also, sometimes plan sponsors (your employer) will pay extra to have thier logo on the drug card, or for cards issued with the name of the spouse.

My recommendation is, go nuts!!!

I am with Great west life for both of ours.

Mine has my company logo, hers company doesn't.
