Oh well, what can we do. If we make a solid 28th pick I'll be happy

How do you know they didn't make a solid pick at #22?

Well, at least it caused people to shut the F up about Fucale, so that's a win, right?

Because if any team has earned exemption from draft criticism, it's the Flames.

Picked the wrong guy, causing CP to react with intelligent and well-reasoned explanations of why it was the wrong guy.

I would just like to have seen him use his later pick or trade down. But who knows who may have taken him then.

I have zero problem with the Poirier pick , I have a problem with it being used at 22 instead of 28 because I 100% believe he would be available then....with that said some of the guys I thought would go before 28 are still available so it looks like it won't matter.

I don't really have a problem with any of the picks, but the only thing I worry about is passing on Shinkaruk at the 22nd pick will hurt us, because if Poirier busts and Hunter turns into a gem for the Canucks, that'll be lose-lose.

And if Poirier turns into a gem and Hunter busts?
