Let's try this again!

Rangers bats need to get going and pull out of this funk they're in.

Stoopid injuries!

Common Jays - lets get 3/4 here and move along. Would be nice if the starting pitching was able to get on a roll. Bats are thumping right now, would be nice if the starting arms could catch up. What's truly been amazing is how great the bullpen has been, considering how often they've been called upon.

Heads up, because Sportsnet deems Western Canada as Yankees or A's fans the game will start on SNet Ontario.

Big win. Really impressed with Delabar, the guy is money right now.

And good job by Rogers, didn't think he could out-duel Darvish.

The Rangers just can't seem to beat the Jays.

The bats got cold with Kinsler, and Moreland out of the lineup. The order just seems jumbled. Add Beltre not playing on turf and an entire big league starting rotation on the DL it's tough to keep up putting the W's on a consistent basis.

Glad the Rangers slump is happening during games outside of the division. Wish it wasn't against the Jays.

Rogers picked up the W, and pitched well. I don't mean this question to discredit him.

Did he out duel Darvish? Both went 7 giving up a run. Rangers loss went to the bullpen. Wouldn't the duel have been a draw? Which is impressive none the less.

Well no sympathy from a Jays fan. Injuries have pretty much derailed our season with our starting SS, 3B, and 3/5 of the starting rotation having long stints on the DL. We've used 12 starting pitchers and it's June!

Any time you can run Yu Darvish out there once every 5 days (despite the health of your other starters) you're in an enviable position.

Oh I'm not looking for sympathy just venting.

I know the Jays used a ton of pitchers to date (28 I believe)

Rangers have Lewis, Harrison, Feliez, Ogando, and Perez out. Starting rotation now is Darvish, Holland, Tepesch, Grimm, Lindblom and Wolf had a spot start. There's 11 starters there (albeit 2 have been out all season).

That many pitchers out hurts the bullpen which is chugging along quite well for the Jays.

The Rangers just haven't been getting that one good inning at the plate.

As for Darvish, that's totally true, until his run support stopped he was on pace for a 20 W, big K amount, Cy Young year. That said you have former Cy Young pitcher RA Dickey pitching every 5 days, not to mention Burle has a perfect game under his belt.

Again I'm not looking for sympathy, but I'm not giving any to the Jays either

How are the Rangers 10 games above .500?

They look awful every time I see them.

Maybe I just see their bad games.

They had a hot start.. 17-7 I think and were good in May but have had a terrible June. They just said on the broadcast this is the 9th time this month they have scored 3 or less runs. It's only June 14.

Same could be said watching the Jays right now... how is this team 6 games under?

As a non-Jays fan and seeing most of their games I think it is fairly easy to see why they are 6 games below .500. In fact with some of their wins lately surprised they aren't lower.

True. It takes seeing most games to see that. I'm sure if you've seen most of the Rangers 70 games, you'd see why they're good (Maritime could chime in here!). But someone who doesn't see either team can't quite figure out why the teams are where they are.

anyways, finally! A non nail-biter!

Well if they can sweep the Rangers today, and have another good showing against the Rockies they have another run of Division games after that. I would say they need to win 3 of the next 4 than get thru the next 10 with a 7-3 record. Essentially getting them to 41-40 at the halfway point. Tall order, but that's the hole they put themselves in.

A sweep of the Rangers would be huge, then if they can sweep or take 2 of 3 against the Rockies that should get them back in the wildcard race. Reyes should be back for the games against the division and that should be a huge boost. Might be asking for alot as over the years, especially this year, we know how much the Jays tend to let us down. They have been playing good ball though lately and maybe they finally get themselves back into contention.

Also Yankees have lost 5 in a row
