Edit: GONE! Thanks!
I posted this very briefly on kijiji but the keyword "free" led to 18 responses, and a bunch of stupid questions, within the hour. Since I didn't feel like responding to questions like "how big is it" after clearly including that in the posting, I took it down. If you're interested, PM me and I can provide pictures or answer questions. The table is free to a good home with pickup from my garage in NW Calgary.
- 9 foot pool table (Est 1975 vintage)
- balls, (snooker & 8-ball)
- various accessories incl. rack, 2 short cues, chalk, etc.
Playing surface is 8'4" by 4'2", plus about 7" per side for the rails. Pockets are more rounded "English style" pockets, and not the angular beasts you run into on most 8-foot tables in the bars.
NOT SLATE. Engineered wood on plywood ladder frame. Rails and legs are a dark wood veneer.
Condition is fair. The felt has a few cuts in it and a couple of stains from childhood misuse, but it is still playable. Spotted for snooker, but most spots missing. Rails have some dings in the veneer. Currently disassembled into 7 pieces (main table, 2 legs, and 4 rails).
If I had the space (14' x 19' recommended), I would redo the felt and touch up the veneer and be happy with it. Note that if anybody's looking for a great, solid table to use for a train set or something equivalent, that's fine with me as long as I never hear about it!
