Just throwing it out there. But the Calgary Rage is Calgary's woman tackle football team in the WWCFL its pretty high end stuff with woman from 18 to whatever playing. This is real football with real equipment played by players who love the game of football.
There are teams all over the province and its pretty entertaining stuff.
I'm working on the coaching staff and I have to say that I see a ton of heart and desire and willingness to battle.
Two of the girls have been invited to play for Team Canada at the Woman's World Championship
So why am I posting this, the Rage open their season on Saturday (May 11) at 2pm at Shouldice against Grande Prairie, and it would be nice to get some fans in the stands. So if you have a hankering to sit out side on a warm day and watch some tackle football, come on out.

Yeah, its kind of great having your starting nose guard going down field like that as a kicker she threw a half dozen stiff arms out there.
Lisa (12) is a very good power back she just runs people over and is fun to watch as well.
Lethbridge right now is the top dog, we are looking forward to that test in a couple of weeks but we need to focus on Okotoks this weekend.

For anyone that was planning on coming out to watch. Due to massive injuries to Okotoks they have forfeited the game so there will be no game on Saturday. The Rage go on the road to Lethbridge and Edmonton before hopefully returning home for the playoffs.
