Summer Student Job Available - IT
The non-profit organization I work for has gotten a grant to hire a student to help in our IT department this summer. The job will start in May and run until the end of August. To qualify for this job, as a condition of the grant, you need to be going to some type of post-secondary school in the fall and be 25 year old or less.
The job will entail refreshing Windows desktops and assisting with a couple projects that are planned for the summer and regular help desk responsibilities. No real experience is needed, but you need to be reasonably good with computers and able to pick things up quickly or be able to research solutions if needed.
We are located downtown, so transit is readily available. The work environment is pretty good, low stress and you will get lots of training. Historically, the people in roles like this for our company have often carried on in some type of part time capacity for a semester or 2.
