Toews likely wins in part because he deserves it and to make up for him not being nominated for Hart.

This is the type of player I'm hoping the Flames land with their 6th overall pick... Even a Patrice Bergeron type would have my very happy... A Toews or a Datsyuk is even beyond that and would be amazing, of course.
I prefer the Flames to draft this type of player as opposed to a more offensive minded player... From what I've read, it appears Monahan fits this description the best, though I've never seen him play so I can't say.

I'm good with Toews or Bergeron but the Datsyuk thrown in there annually is getting tired NHL.

Bergeron deserves to win, but Toews will win simply because he's the better offensive player.

I think Toews wins it, he had a great year.

Bergeron is such a tremendous player. I think he's severely underrated at times, but then I look at his hardware. People do recognize his hard work. I think he's resume speaks for itself.
Despite all the superstars on the roster, he was definitely my favorite player during the 2005 WJC.

If he his good enough to be nominated for the Selke, had all the points that he did, and all the other things he does, why wasn't he nominated for the Hart? Datsyuk too. #easternbias

Have you seen him play? They don't nominate him for no reason, Datsyuk is elite offensively and defensively.
Wouldn't be surprised if he wins it again, tbh.

Would be cool if Datsyuk won again, because I like when players win the same trophy over and over again. It looks cool in the stats book.

Datsyuk made an amazing goal against the Ducks in the last series. He is by far, one of my favourite players who brings it consistently. He's elite and has skill as long as a Calgary day in June.
