Edmonton Restaurants
Hello all,
So I'm in Edmonton a few times a month for work and it would be nice to find some restaurants to take my clients for lunch. Most of my customer base in Edmonton is downtown, but some are by west Ed mall. Hoping to find a good Italian or steak restaurants.
Any reccomendations?

Red Robin's! I know it's considered a ####ty restaurant by many but I love their hamburgers.

Chiantis on Whyte is a pretty decent pasta place. Reasonable price, and everything is customizable. I used to go there tons in university.
When I lived on the West End, I just wanted to get out of the west end. There is nothing good there. Nothing. ...other than Red Robin.

Taste of Ukraine in St Albert was delicious, friendly, and a fun outting for me and my friends.

There's a little Italian place called Pazzo Pazzo on 103Ave + 100St downtown. Not the fanciest location or decor, but the food has always been pretty good.

Slightly off topic. What the heck happened with Red Robin in Calgary? Would love to see one here again.

Hardware Grill is excellent and expensive. They do a pretty awesome Chef's Table there. Pazzo Pazzo, as mentioned, great food and not too expensive. Blue Willow (Chinese), Louisiana Purchase (Cajun), Sicilian Pasta Kitchen and Cafe de Ville are all above average places that are downtown.

Well, noted Edmonton food critic Bryan Hall usually suggests 'That's Aroma' or 'Tony Roma's'.
"Ya gotta love TR's, oooh, I can almost smell those delicious ribs right now!!"

I remember going there after a weekend of partying. Basically wanted to puke (not from a hangover, never got them when I was young), it was so gross.

That would be the Lingnan (never been, although I did go to their food court location called "Chicken For Lunch" -- good stuff).
