This year's final will see a battle between the 2 Conference leaders from the regular season. Some highlights include a match-up between the leagues two best goalies Lundy and Quick, no longer will the Islanders hold the advantage in the net. Can the Ducks stingy defense slow Nash down who has been on a tear? When MJK sold me on Nash being a great playoff performer in the CPHL he wasn't kidding. A wild card will be how the Ducks will respond to losing their star player Joe Thornton for the series. This has led to more GM's predicting a Cup win for the Islanders however nothing is predictable and this should be an excellent series where it should be expected to go the distance. The Ducks top 4 defense core is insane while the Islanders chemistry has been tough to figure out all year long. It will be a clash between the leagues best offense and best defense.
