I hate flying, but it looks like I may have to do a last minute trip here to the UK and will be flying next week. I usually try to avoid anything related to plane crashes right before I fly, so this won't help.

The pilots doing every single thing in their power to get that plane back under control, right up to the moment of impact.
Loadmaster is the person responsible for securing the loads. Clearly he didn't do his job properly.
Ah, armchair crash investigation at its finest.
How do you know he didn't do his job correctly? What if a strap failed on its own and as a result the remaining ones failed causing the cargo shift?
On some other forums it is being discussed how often the USAF recalls cargo straps (this from USAF personnel) that do not meet the failure limits. So equipment malfunction could be just as much a cause as a loadmaster not doing the job properly. Or how about runaway trim?
