Nice I was hoping we were going to see Cundari before the season was over.

Hmmm the flu?
Feaster: "Chris you don't look good today."
Butler: "I feel fine."
Feaster: "No you don't."
Butler: "But...."
Feaster: "Just shut up already and stay home today."
Butler: "umm.....okay boss"

I think there's a strong chance the top 4 are playing over 25 minutes each.

Looking forward to seeing Cundari play and maybe scrap.
Flames have a better chance at losing if Babchuk is on the ice. Play him for 20min a night for these road games.

I bet it's nothing out of the ordinary, the team is just telling guys to rest instead of play hurt. Let's them play other guys and get a look at the kids.

Broken finger doesn't sound good... is that it for Wideman's season?

With 5 games left, probably depending on how bad the break is, but there's no point in rushing him back either. I think we thank Wideman for a really good season and let him get an early start on the off season.
I'm looking forward to seeing if this kid is as much of a jerk and poop disturber as his reputation says.

As long as Babchuk is one of the four!
Seriously though, looking forward to seeing Cundari play - wish I was going to the game tonight.

Feaster must see how Carolina and Tampa are crapping the bed and wants to keep up. Nice.

If the Flames really wanted to tank wouldn't it be more like, "Hey Chris, I just broke Wideman's finger, you'll be playing 25 mins tonight, play like you always play."

Agreed. Probably doesn't much of a nick for the Flames to sit a vet down, given their agenda of getting a look at as many young players as possible, as well as given all these rookies a taste of what to expect, so they're better equipped to go into the summer and next season.

If the Flames take a lead in this one I hope they have the good sense to put The Anton out there until that is corrected.
The Anton is our best bet for a higher pick.

Have Butler as his defense partner... or even better, Cervenka.

From what I hear Butler and Babchuk match up well against Getzlaf and Perry.
