They must know how important it is to go 0-4 on this road trip...

Just as Feaster stated yesterday. Heat season over, call up limit lifted.
Can't wait to see Cundari.
Hope Byron gets another good look, and stays healthy.
Good for Carter Bancks. Heart and soul guy from all accounts, and should get to play at least his first ever NHL game.

I can't believe they won't give Nemisz another chance when guys like Street get one.

The Irving recall is interesting. It could mean they want someone in goal to lose or maybe he could still be in our plans and given one last shot. No Greg Nemisz is also interesting. Is it the end of the line for him, I hope not.

I'm sure there's a good reason, he simply must not have earned the shot.

In my opinion, he could have turned out to be a good 3rd/4th liner and has done fine when being called up. Just like Reinhart, some players do better in the NHL than the AHL. Secondly, the guy is only 22 and a first round pick, you don't just invest 4+ years and then let him go without a final chance.

I can't believe Irving is in their plans. Maybe just giving him a chance to showcase himself for another team next year.

Should be fun! The score of the last 4 games doesn't even matter. Kids just go out and play!

Carter Bancks has definitely earned a shot over Nemisz. I disagree that he looked good at the NHL level. Nemisz was pretty invisible whenever he played for the Flames. Street wasn't amazing, but he at least looked involved when he played.
I would really like to see Byron play for more than one shift (no more broken bones please). It sounds like he's made some progress in Abbotsford and I would like to see what he can offer the team next year.
I definitely want to see Cundari get some decent playing time to see if he's NHL capable.
Go Baby Flames Go!

I don't get his sudden drop-off this year. Either Ward really hates the kid, or his injuries have ruined him
Any Heat watchers have some insight?

Nice little bonus for everyone (other than Jones) as well. Bancks made $55,000 in salary this year playing in the AHL, could make about half that in this next week if he stays. Same with Cundari.

I haven't seen PMM comment on the fact Bancks is coming up yet, I bet he is really excited for this.
