One year deal, not a bad idea. Never seen the guy play, but any goalie that is 6-4 or taller intrigues me. Let's hope he's a notch or two better than the last tall goalie that played for the team.
Plays out of position quite a bit from some game videos that were posted a couple weeks ago. Fun thing about that is he is like Hasek and tends to flop and fly around. Now don't go all crazy because I thought his play was a little akin to Haseks. Good Butterfly but his lateral movement could be quicker. 50/50 shot he ends up being a quality NHL talent.
Did I mention he is quite flexible? I am one person Intrigued to see what he can do in the NHL and hope he gets a good shot.

The one year deal wasn't optional.

Three-year contracts: Any player between the ages of 18 and 21 is subject to entry-level limits for three years. Two-year contracts: Any player between the ages of 22 and 23 is subject to entry-level limits for two years. One-year contracts: Any player aged 24 when he signs his contract is subject to entry-level limits for a single year. However, for European players (drafted or undrafted) who sign their first contract before the age of 28 are also subject to the NHL’s entry-level system.
Berra is 26. Ramo is also 26 but since he has already played in the NHL he will not have to sign an ELC.
