Hey guys just looking for a little advice maybe you all can help.
about 3 yrs ago myself and a couple ladies started a women's tournament here is Calgary during April. The first yr we had 8 teams, last yr we had 21 teams and this yr we are aiming for 32 teams and ICE is already secured at Fairview, Thorncliffe and Trico!
We had a huge social with a turn out of over 200ppl, we had beer pong, door prizes, raffles, team prizes etc... Graf was nice enough to Donate tons of gear and various companies around the city were also very supportive. However this yr i am looking for some more advice on some new thing to introduce to the tourney. Also the venue we had last yr we ended up filling over capacity and i am afraid this yr we will have 2 many teams to have the social there, anyone have any ideas of some larger venues in town that are hockey friendly that may offer up some specials and such?
