Best possible outcome, Flames lose and Hanowski get's his first. Sven also scored and Backlund got a point. Can't ask more than that.

I know we lost and that sucks, but with all the young kids playing so well and the game being so exciting as far as the Flames were concerned (despite the Wild's best effort to put us all to sleep) I think this is warranted.
Grats Ben on the first of hopefully many.

Several bad goals by MacDonald was the difference. The kids put up some more points, first goal for Hanowski, and the Wild pass the Blues in the standings. Overall about as happy with a loss I can be.

I think it's pretty fitting that Hanowski, a Minnesota native, scored his first NHL goal against the Wild in his first NHL game. He couldn't have written a better script for himself today.
