geez, the Flames keep talking about merit, but don't bring up Bancks even for a cup of coffee. Disappointing.

I actually thought Nemisz looked really good in his stint on the 3rd line last spring.
He was on Sven's line when he scored those 3 goals, after all.

Coach Ward seems to think a lot of Nemisz and uses him in all situations, including last night when they put newcomer Carter Rowney on a line with him and Walter. So they could help him with his transition to the AHL game.
Also Nemisz has picked up a little aggression lately and has had a scrap and is getting into a lot of scrums that he use to avoid.

So he's now a tough guy who still can't skate out of a paper bag?
I will be mad if we re-sign him this year. He is absolutely terrible.

Heat are actually playing better right now than they have for sometime, if last night was any indication. They were terrific, all the new guys helping and everyone picking up their play.
Beat the Marlies 3-0 and totally dominated the game.Guess thats what happens when they get rest and practice.

you really need to stop judging based on stats. Nemisz is one for the Heats best players along the boards, he drives to the net and has good hands. He has had a tough injury plagued year.
