The Pittsburgh Penguins made a move to improve their powerplay and vastly increase the offensive firepower from the point. The wednesday morning deal sees Sergei Zubov head to Pittsburgh in exchange for veteran blueliner Jaroslav Modry and two way forward Vladimir Orazagh. The deal made sense to Pens GM Goffie who thinks the youth coming up through the system made Orazagh expendable.

" This move improves our powerplay which struggled last season and it gives some of our younger players a chance to move into our lineup and see more icetime. We feel it is important to us to develop these players for the future of our club. "
