Calgary was really good in NHL94 apart from Vernon's five hole which is still giving me nightmares. Basically if you slid the puck facing him directly using the pass button, it would always go in. Always. You could do it from the mid ice or anywhere so long as you were sliding the puck directly towards him.
I think Luc Robitaille had one where if you shot it hard from the half boards the goalie would kind of turn and redirect the puck in with his chest.
My bread and butter was the blind pass from Fleury to Nieuwendyk in the slot for a one-timer.

It wasn't just Robitaille, there was a certain spot on the boards where many players could score on a regular basis, my friends and I called it the "walleye" for some bizarre reason and it eventually became outlawed in our tournaments, haha.
Roenick backhand, forehand in close was almost a guaranteed goal too.
That game was awesome, they have never quite captured that magic again.
Awesome. Three friends and I still have an annual NHL '94 round robin tourney followed by seeded playoffs, and the winner gets the NHL '94 trophy for the year.
fun fact! that is actually NHLPA hockey 93' in that movie although it is commonly mistaken for NHL 94
IIRC, the footage shown is from '93 but the dialogue in the scene describes NHL 94, particularly the bit about there no longer being fighting in the game and how that was "the best part of the old version."
He was a rookie that season, and wasn't in the game til the next season.
