edit: I'd say there's more than a few people feeling exactly as you describe right now.

infested with Crosby?

I wish the Flames were infested with Crosby, Malkin, Neal, Letang and Kunitz.

its people like you that make me sick... What kind of a flames fan are you if you can't accept the fact that this is a business and that iggy had to go sooner or later. If he had stayed his whole career here and not win the cup he so called deserves, you'd be all over his arse too.

I am guessing your house and probably half the "iggy please don't go" fans out there have trashed most or maybe all of the iggy memorabilia.

If it makes you feel any better I'd look at it like this:

Suppose you got married and lived in a small place but you decided to get a great big dog because that big promotion and dream home seemed just around the corner.

Your dog turned out to be awesome but despite your best efforts you just didn't get that big house and still live in a tiny 500sq ft apartment after all these years.

Your dog is getting up there... so now it's time for him to go live down the street with those people with the giant house and huge kickass yard.

But don't worry, you can still go see him from time to time. And he'll be much happier there.

I'm not the one having a hard time with iggy leaving. Yes, I'm shocked that he got traded all of a sudden, but saying you wanna be banned from the forum because you can't take it, like come on, bro. Lets get real here.

My last post ever, this team will never be the same again, and everyne will be talking about him on the penguins and how sweet he is with players like he will play with. This sucks, we look like a joke, we look like cbj giving up nash for crap.

Good night, cp. It was fun.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one excited here.... Iggy was my favourite player but the Flames are my favourite team. I'm sad to see him go but at the same time I'm excited for the future. This team was going nowhere fast and changes needed to be made. I know it's going to suck not having our team leader on this team anymore but to see some changes being made in the right direction is more exciting for me.

Iggy might but I don't think your dog would be. From this analogy though, I feel like we should've tried harder to make it work somehow...

Damn, I don't know what to think. Good step for the organization (even if the return is piddly) and potentially great for Iggy if he gets that cup but there's this nagging feeling like one of those itches that can't be scratched except it's not an itch, it's more melancholy than that

Don't look now but the CBJ are much improved after the Nash trade... they're probably going from last to a playoff spot...the "crap" helped... here's to the "crap" we got for Iggy doing the same....

Man you need to not care so much. It's a form of entertainment, not a girlfriend.
