McGrattan got penalized for saluting the crowd after his fight. Jagr salutes the crowd often after he scores a goal. I now expect him to get penalized for it as well.

Is that word for word from Gelinas' interview? Pretty close I think.

No kidding. If that deserved a misconduct, so did Yakupov's idiotic over-celebration. Terrible call by the officials, and I hope the Flames are petitioning the league to have that misconduct rescinded.

The rule is to stop taunting the other team after fights. I don't like Jagr's salute or Yakupoving, bu they are different.
I think it's a good rule and I think they had to call it yesterday, even though he was acknowledging the crowd, not taunting the Nucks. It was the right call.
Despite all that, don't care that he got the penalty. Loved it! The crowd loved it. The Flames played better afterwards.
Well worth the 10 minutes.

He does a little salute after this fight too (I love this one):
I have nothing against a salute or crowd pleasing gesture as long as the fight was fair and not a complete destruction. If a another player completely beats down another player, then it's disrespectful to gloat. I thought McGrattan had the edge on the Sestito fight, but it was even enough that I don't think saluting was that bad.
Also, here is a rare fight that McGrattan lost (against Boogaard RIP). He was standing up for Prust and took a beat down for it.

Salute of McGrattan, comparing to Jagr salute, description of the fight, few words taken from interview with McGrattan etc. Nothing you did not see or did not read. But i found that interesting, so i posted it here :-)
Go Flames GOOO!!!
Greetings from CR
