11 games, all of FLA, TB, WAS and BUF have a chance to jump pass Calgary in the standings. WAS looks like they are going to lose though, so probably not.
Flames could potentially be 29-30th overall by the end of the night.

We will be 28th if Columbus and Buffalo pull off victories
Flames are already behind Columbus. You mean Tampa and Buffalo?
St. Louis's 2 point puts him up to 35, and Stamkos already entered today with 37 points. Yet the team is fighting to stay out of dead last, Boucher's time is numbered.
Also, Canada went into today's game with the top 5 scorers in the league with Crosby, Stamkos, Kunitz, St. Louis and Getzlaf.
I thought the puck had to have forward motion not just in motion.
League has previously said they will allow exceptions for spin-o-rama as the basic intent of one forward Norton is maintained. IE. The player isn't stopping and changing his move after an attempt doesn't work

I really hate to beat a dead horse, but I watch other teams and see the effort they put out game after game, shift after shift and there's no way the Flames could compete with these teams.
Even if they made the playoffs through some miracle, I can't see how it wouldn't turn out to be a one-and-done.

Can't argue with you there. I'm interested to see if they show up tomorrow night or pack it in. They just don't look like they're in the game a lot of the time.

Along those lines, the tempo the Flames play is at another level below the majority of the league. It's not what we saw early in the year and not what Hatrley was preaching. There's something wrong with the players, they always resort back to a plodding style at slow pace.

Big win by the Sabres. Too bad the battle of Florida did not go to Overtime. Florida will be hard to catch, but the other two games are huge. Especially with the games in hand, it is key for Buffalo to get some victories. Nice to see Columbus get a point, two would have been better.

Well, deal with it. I wasn't cheering for Canada either way. Nothing worse than arrogant Canadian fans. They'd be lucky to finish 4th. Quote me on that. They have a bad team and that is why I won't be cheering for them.
