JOB OVERVIEW
The SAP Operations Specialist will monitor/guide the IBM SAP stream in their area to achieve best performance and quality with reduced cost. They will retain critical technical knowledge in-house reducing our outsourced risk and provide safeguarding services to their area to insure standard configurations and up to date SAP feature capabilities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Monitor/guide their IBM Stream to achieve best performance and quality while reducing cost
- Safeguard Suncor SAP Solutions and drive us towards standard configurations and up to date SAP feature capabilities
- Retain critical technical knowledge in-house to reduce risk on projects as well as outsourced operations
- Point of escalation for their stream
- Involvement with SAP Councils to drive improvements as required by Suncor
- Manage an outsourced team of up to 15 contractors
- Manage a significant project budget
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:- Minimum five years SAP support or Project experience specifically in the Finance (required) and Project Services (an asset) modules
- University Degree (Computer Science, Engineering or Business Related field)
Skills and Knowledge:- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Experienced with outsourced relationships on either side of the relationship would be an asset
- Oil and gas business knowledge an asset but not required
