Hey people!

So I have a small question to ask...I created a .htaccess file to block IP addresses from my site, but it doesn't seem to be working....Is anyone familiar with this and could you give me a step by step on what I should be doing?

I opened an .htaccess.txt file, wrote the code (which may be wrong) and put it in my main directory on the FTP? What am I missing?

Thanks guys!

order allow,deny
deny from xx.xxx.xxx.xx
allow from all

That's what I used for mine, and it works for me.

Just noticed... are you using .htaccess or .htaccess.txt?

The file should just be .htaccess!
