That kid he tripped was like 2 feet taller than the kid in front of him. I bet he was pounding the smaller players.
Looks to me like he tripped the short one. The taller one just tripped on the downed kid.... Or are you talking about the even shorter one ahead of the tripping.
Lol, it's awesome how the coach said it was accidental. It was so deliberate, it almost looks like a leg sweep. He was totally going after the big kid, but ended up tripping both him and the little kid in front of him. Like Fotze said, I bet he just manhandled the other team.

Thats the guy I want coaching my kids. An adult who lays a hand (or foot) on a 13 year old must have some sort of head issue to think he would get away with this. He is lucky the parent of the child did not resort to some sort of hockey parent rage and thump him in the parking lot.

The guy is a dick but let's not go crazy here. He tripped a kid, he didn't beat the #### out of him. Little early to say he's got mental issues.
He deserves to be banned from coaching or anything to do with minor hockey but I don't think criminal charges should be laid.
Yes but since when is it ok to lay a hand on a kid? My dad might of kicked my @ss when I was younger but he never tripped or hit any of my friends or kids that I played sports with. There has to be something wrong with you if you did not think that tripping somebodys child was not going to lead to charges or some sort of "investigation"

he broke a kid's wrist. if there were no injuries i'd agree with just a coaching ban, but once you injure someone with an intentional action that's assault. the guy deserves criminal charges
