It is a quiet Wednesday in the NHL. The good news is that both OOT games are on national television in Canada and the United States. This means Centre is not required for the games. The Flames game is also nationally televised in Canada.

It is a rare doubleheader night on NBCSN and TSN2.

At 1730h

at

Battle of Pennsylvania, part two and is also on RDS in french.

Philly calls time-out, they send out their energy guys and Zolzniercuk (sp?), a call-up, goes out, hits a Penguins player roughly from behind and gets drilled right after by another Pens player. Off he goes with what looks like a broken nose. Ouch. the Penguins bench yakking at him the whole way.

And Malkin ALMOST scores. Bryzgalov's glove is half-way behind the line making the save, but I think it may be too close to call it in.

That looked in, but another situation where you can't prove it was so no goal.

Holy Christ the Penguins power-play is terrifyingly good.

Pittsburgh vs Chicago in the Finals? Too early?

Too early, plus Pens don't have the goaltending.

Malkin scores anyway. Harry Neale used to say, if you think you scored then next time you will score.

I feel sorry for the 2nd PP unit in Pittsburgh. It seems they never get any ice time.

Chicago don't have the goaltending.

Pens sure do, Fleury's already won once, he knows what it takes. That being said: He's been bad, I agree.

Fleury's been much better than last post-season so far, and amazing the past handful of games. Heck, they won the Cup with the guy a few years back. I don't think it's fair to say they don't have the goaltending (especially with Vokoun as a back-up), any more than it would be to look at Kiprusoff's post-season performance against San Jose a few years back and say the Flames don't have the goaltending.

Between Chicago and Pittsburgh, when it comes to goaltending, it's definitely the Hawks that have the far bigger question mark in goal.

So? So you're saying Crawford and Emery will get you the cup, if it comes up to them? It's misleading because as a team, they are above everyone else.
