Default Replacement of Glass Panels in Garage Door

So unbeknownst to me, my son sets up his hockey net in front of the garage door, and starts shooting one of those wretched orange balls and one deflects off the cross bar and breaks one of the windows in the garage door.

I'd like to replace all windows with plexiglass /or some kind of clear plastic.

Anyone know of a place where I could buy some plexiglass. I would prefer that the sheets be cut to my measurements, but if I have to cut the it gives me a reason to bust out my jig saw.

check out Sabic Ploymershapes up by the airport.

They will cut to your dimensions as well. - but you may have to buy full sheets from them to do custom cuts for you

Memory is fuzzy, but I think I replaced some glass on a screen door once, with a piece of plexiglass that I bought from the Rona in Westhills. Yeah, that Rona has nothing at all, but they have pieces of plexiglass. Or did a few years ago.

Just let him shoot in the garage.

Like Tim Jackman.

My dad replaced the windows with puck board... and I only used tennis balls back then!

By the time I grew up that garage had seen multiple window replacements. The door was five panels across and there was puck board in the middle piece and on the two end pieces. He must've had to replace sone of the windows a few times, and eventually decided to put the puck board in. The garage door also had a lot of give, so we would bodycheck each other into the door. It was quite bowed in too. The garage door may have been the first thing replaced by the new owners after my dad sold the house.
