Default NHL Jersey Nostalgia thread

I was just digging up old EA NHL screenshots for another thread and started getting a nostalgic feeling seeing some of the old jerseys. Personally I think a lot of the current NHL jerseys are hot garbage,a nd have a sentimental feeling attached to a lot of the 90's/early 2000's jerseys.

However some of the jerseys I like are hated by most. I guess it's just my age maybe, as I was a youngster in the ninties, so a lot of the styles back then grew on me.

Lke for example, I was actually a fan of our pedastel jerseys, despite the fact that pretty much every Flames fan talks about them like they the worst thing to ever happen to this franchise. I think part of it was because Fleury was my hero, and I associate the pedastel jersey with Fleury's jersey tuck and Flaming capatain's C.

I truly wish the Flames would just go with this jersey as the normal home jersey. It's my fav flames jersey, always has been.

Loved the winter classic Blackhawks jersey too, one of my all time favs along with Chi-towns home red (You rock Russ Griswold!)

Spoiler!

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

I always loved colors for aways. The 90's ruined jerseys when teams started to go with black. The green jerseys for Minnesota and Hartford will always be classics.
