Default Text change?

Did something happen with the default font?

I'm seeing some weird kerning, wondering if it's the site or just something on with my computer. In particular, the letter after an m seems too close.

E.g. me, something, seems...

Edit: back to normal now. Seems that turning on and off hardware acceleration in Firefox without restarting it caused the issue... but why?

In general the hardware acceleration in browsers does something to the font rendering, I'm not totally sure why. My IE which I rarely use looks different for that reason I think.
