Default Where Can I Buy ... ? ( hockey gear question)

I am looking for screws, screw backs and possibly even spacers for a visor.

I just need four long screws and then 2 screw backs for inside the helmet.

I have tried sportschek and canadian tire. I guess I havent looked at Pro Hockey Life but is there anywhere else one could think of?

Stunned that CT does not have this item.......

Any hard core hockey store will have this item.

I think this has what the OP is looking for?

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en

I think they also have something that just contains screws, but it was the same price.

CT and SportChek both had one of these but oddly enough they didnt have long enough screws for the visor in the package.

If you need longer screws you may have to try Home Depot/lowes

Or ask the fellas at the skate sharpening counter if they have some longer screws.

This. I would probaby just improvise something using machine screws and nuts from Home Depot, myself, as I a don't have much patience for driving from store to store looking for a 10c part. If you've got the backing nut, you might get lucky and find a screw with the same thread pattern in the random parts bins at Home Depot. Either that or just use a regular machine screw with a rounded head and install it with the nut end on the outside of the helmet so that it doesn't scratch your face.

I found screws at a hardware store... something like 8/32" and 3/4". Worked like a charm!!! Thanks guys!

Just a note, you might want to put some of these screws, a screwdriver with multiple bits and some extra laces in an emergency kit in young gear bag. Always nice to have that stuff in case of emergency

Yeah I have it back home. I just don't have it in my "Canadian set of gear".

I just brought a visor with me this year and didnt have anything to attach it.
