Default Merry Christmas Indeed

Just went out to my garage to put away some things and noticed that mine and my wife's bicycles were stolen last night. Thieves took it from my garage (man door was unlocked) and put them in a truck.

If anyone spots any ads for Specialized Crosstrail bikes one navy blue (Womens) and one grey (Mens). Send me a PM.

If anyone works for a bike shop and wants to give me a deal, also send me a PM.

Sunsabiches..

Damn that sucks dude... This might be off topic but if they were expensive bikes would your home insurance cover it? Im not even sure if you have to pay a deductible like you do for a car insurance claim or not... but I'd love to know the answer.

What area of town? Even though they're likely out of sight by now, if you live anywhere near downtown I wouldn't put it past a couple of crackheads to literally just ride them away from your garage.

I live in renfrew, and my deductible is about half the value of the bikes as we paid.

To make matters more painful, my wife is just about off on maternity leave, we can't really afford to replace them, and I use my bike as my primary form of transportation in the warmer months.

That sucks donkey balls, and I hope you get your bikes back. However, I'm curious how you know they put them in a truck?

If you haven't already, set up a few Google Alerts with some key terms like Specialized Calgary. It'll notify you daily when someone mentions those terms on a site Google has indexed. If someone posts an ad you should get an email about it.
