Driveway Problem Solving
I'm assuming this is a problem that others have solved already, so rather than waste my brainpower solving my problem I thought I'd ask the CP brain trust.
My fiancé and I have one driveway (naturally) which holds two cars.
Now she leaves before me in the morning, and is home before me.
What have you done to combat the cars being boxed in? She prefers to drive he car and I prefer to drive mine. Any simple solution other than getting out and moving the cars every night/morning?

One of your has to sell your car, and buy the same model car as the other.

One parks on the driveway and the other on the street. You can alternate the days on who gets the driveway.
You can send my cheque to......

Not sure if serious....
Anyways, the way I see it you've got two options, besides getting out and moving the cars every night/morning.
1) Park one car on the street
2) Pay some neighbour kid $5 a day to move the cars every night/morning
I guess alternatively, one of you could quit your job and it wouldn't be an issue.

Build a ramp on the back of your fiances car. When you get home, hit the ramp hard and fly over her car and land in your parking spot in front of her.

Wiseguys would pull up and Tuddy
would let me park their Cadillacs.
Here I am, this little kid, I can't
even see over the steering wheel...
...and I'm parking Cadillacs.

Have her park on the street when she gets home. After you pull into the drive, YOU pull her car in behind yours, and you`re set for the next morning.

Did you move in at the same time, or does one of you have neighborhood seniority? That should determine who has to move the cars at night.
Seriously though, is widening the driveway an option? You shouldn't have to double it if it's a normal driveway, my parents added a couple of feet only and it was enough, but obviously depends on the size of the driveway and the vehicles.

It's hard to give a serious answer without more details such as whether using some of your lawn is possible, or if your house and your fence make that impossible. If it only holds two cars, then it's not very long, so that means the street is right there. Get her to park on the street when she gets home, then pull her car in after yours when you get home with the spare key. Nobody goes outside after they're inside, and both cars are on your property at night.
Or you could get a motorcycle and drive around her in the driveway.
Or she could start having an affair and leave before you and get home after you.
Or you could pave a big arc shaped driveway on your front lawn.

Be a man park on the street, let her park in the driveway.....then park the pigskin bus in tuna town.

Park in a cul-de-sac, preferably in front of your neighbours house.

Do you have a back lane?
Run the driveway up one side of the property and remove the fence section that blocks it off from the back lane. First in, first out. No backing required.

Jebus Cripes ... break up and fast, any man worth his sand knows the driveway, garage and the TV remote control are his birthright and any female who opposes this is unworthy of carrying your seed.
Easy compromise ... switch cars (for now) then in the future get cars you both enjoy.
People have worse problems I'm sure by pointing this out an amicable solution will be worked out.
