Ski Passes at Costco

I'm just wondering if the ski passes to Sunshine, Lake Louise, etc. that you can get at Costco can be split up. In other words, if I buy a 3 pack for Sunshine Village, can 3 different people use one lift ticket each in a single day?

I know we did this a couple years ago when a friend bought a couple 3 packs for 6 of us. However, on the Costco website it says:

Included:

• 1 lift ticket for an adult valid for 2 or 3 days
• Can be used at Mt. Norquay, The Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village

Does this mean it's good for one person for 2 or 3 seperate days (depending if you buy the 2 or 3 day pack) or can I split it up?

They are direct to lift tickets, meaning you can split them amongst 2/3 people and hit the slopes on the same day.
My wife and I usually buy 2-3 vouchers at a time and they give you an envelope with that number of tickets in it.

Sounds like the passes the OP is refering to are the Tri-Area lift tickets, which probably can't be split up. (the clue being valid at Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise and Sunshine). Aren't these the ones you have to use in 5 days?

The passes in the physical store are individual resort passes (the direct to lift tickets).

Ah, that's my confusion. I don't think Costco advertises the direct-to-lift tickets on their website then.
