Eww, I'd have to give up on the James Bond series if either were the case. Jude Law seems like such a panzy and I'm not much for the other guy.
I always liked Mr. Brosnan, although I'm not a big bond fan anyway... but Jude Law... eww lol

Cast Rupert Everett as James Bond, get Ang Lee to direct, and make it a 1960s period-piece as opposed to a modern setting. The current direction of the franchise completely fails when compared to something like the Bourne series, and it needs a major overhaul, not just a change in lead actors.

I would prefer Clive Owen out of all the names I have heard. I don't want a big name actor like Ewan Macgregor or Jude Law. And please no gay James Bond.

My vote is for Hugh Jackman or Clive Owen. In all honesty, I think that Jude Law is too much of a pansy to play Bond.

I heard the CLive Owen turned it down becuase he didnt wanna end up being type cast in the future. I can totally understand, I mean whenever you think of Brosnan now, you think of Bond as well as Roger Moore and to some extent, Connery as well, but he has done some great movies since his Bond days to remove the typecast.
Anyways, Clive Owen would be a perfect fit, the guy is awesome, if you havent seen Croupier with him in it, check it out, great flick

Just watched it last night. Very good.
Clive would get my vote for Bond if he is interested.
And as someone else mentioned, the BMW films are really cool too. They're very Bond like, and you could see him as Bond from those roles.
