Default Outdoor Contractors

I'm looking for a recommended outdoor contractor that can do a bit more than just decks and patios. I'd like a full backyard development, to include deck, patio, walkway, outdoor gas fireplace, and move outdoor gas line for bbq.

Anyone used or know of contractors that can do these types of projects?

Ace - most reputable landscape contractors can price and fulfill this scope of work. Some of the components listed typically wouldn't be completed "in house" but through their network of sub-contractors (plumber/gas-fitter, electrician, mason). One thing you may want to consider with a redevelopment of this scope is the added step of having a landscape design developed. Some landscape construction contractors do this design work in house, while others will put you in touch with an independent designer who you would work with one on one, that way the design is yours and you can still tender it to as many contractors as you'd like. The design gives a great visual tool, ensures everyone is on the same page and also gives you something to hold the contractor accountable to. To give you a sense of relativity to your budget - a design would start around $500 and run to around $1500 depending on the technicality of the job, but $1000 is a safe average (perhaps a bit less).
Some landscape construction is done based on concept meetings only without drawings involved, this can work, but you have to be sure you and the contractor are envisioning the same thing.
I'm involved in this line of work and would be happy to PM you some more detail if you'd like, I can also give you the names of some others that I am confident can take on this sort of project.
