The German government plans to ban zoophilia -- sex with animals -- as part of an amendment to the country's animal protection law, but faces a backlash from the country's zoophile community, estimated to number over 100,000.
Zoophilia was legalized in Germany in 1969

That sounds like a made up story, but apparently it's legit. The really disturbing thing about this is that it's not just lonely farmers looking for any port in a storm (not that I condone that either) - it's people going to "erotic zoos" to actively seek this out.
Animal sex abuse is on the rise in Germany, with bestiality brothels being set up across the country, according to a state animal protection officer demanding stronger laws to protect mankind's furry and feathered friends.
Yikes. I will never be able to look at zoos the same way again.

This is one thing that never made sense to me at all. Even necrophilia (which is disgusting in itself) I could sort of understand in that it's still a human corpse.
How is an animal any better than even the fugliest of girls? The fact that there's even a zoophile community opposing this in public is hilarious.
