The Jets announced on Tuesday afternoon that they have completed 2 more deals in the past 24 hours. First, they acquired forward Boyd Devereaux from the Canucks for future considerations. Boyd is going to get some time on the 3rd line and hopefully chips in with 10 goals this coming season. The other deal has the Jets sending speedy winger Rico Fata and defenceman Karlis Skrastins to the Wild for forward Jason Krog and defenceman Keith Carney. We got the better defenseman but the Wild get the better forward. Carney will be a lock in our top 4 defencemen and Krog could play 3rd or 4th line but could also be our 13th forward. We wish Rico and Karlis all the best in Minnesota. I would also like to thank GMs Mango, and Jiri for making both deals without using MSN.
