Apologies from the Jackets for missing lines, I am traveling and sent them in too late. We played a game without Parise in our lineup when they should have been there but won anyways! He wasnt back to 100% so i guess sitting him another day wasn't so bad.

TJ Oshie has really enjoyed playing on the top line. We didn't think he could handle top minutes which is why we went looking for a C but he has been excellent. However, he is now day-to-day with an injury.
3 Stars

1 - T.J. Oshie (CBJ)
2 - Henrik Lundqvist (CBJ)
3 - Bryan Allen (CBJ)

Voracek fights Langenbrunner to a draw
Giroux beats up Blake

Yeah f'n right to both of those! Lol

JVR with 2 goals, Liles with 4 helpers as the Blues beat up on the Hawks 6-3. Who needs top end talent?!

The devils offense comes alive and we finally get a PP goal, Dubnyk got lit up though. Guess he didn't respond well to the trade rumours.

Top line springs to life. Hossa with 2 goals (3pts), Getzlaf with 1(2 pts). Perry with 2 helpers. New acquisition Loui Eriksson scores the OT winner as Phoenix continues to find ways to win.

A Hard-fought SO win against the Preds has vaulted the Caps into first place (points wise) in the CPHL.

Mark Streit has put up 7 pts in 7 games since his acquisition.

Streit is also -5 in 7 games. He stinks. Good on the PP but nothing else!

Backup couldn't get it done tonight. I made a mistake and played Ward last game instead of this one but I'm not sure it would have made much of a difference.

I guess we are even then, I had my best player sitting on the bench by mistake and you went with your backup.

Glad it worked out for me instead of you!

Contributed more points than Minus. As long as that continues i could care less about his +/- . The team is also 5-1-1 since the trade.

Team has been in a funk. I rested Halak today and cut back some guys ice time knowing I play the jackets tomorrow. So I'll take the loser point today and the win tomorrow.

Caught the Ducks at the right time I guess handing them their 3rd loss in a row to allow the Caps to take over the league lead. Recent newcomers to the Island Miller, Nash and Wandell played key roles in todays win. Nash had 3 points while Wandell chipped in with the second goal of the game and Miller gets his 2nd SO of the year to take the league lead. Back at it tomorrow against the Wild for the 2nd game of 4 in 5 days.
