If you have an ad-blocker installed on your browser, you can block specific images. I've done that with avatars and signatures that are either too big or otherwise annoying.

Thanks getbak! Adblock Plus for Firefox allows you to right click on the image and you can select to block image. Works like a charm. Thanks!

Oh right, I guess I should set it to be able to block stuff on CP. I currently have it on everything is allowed.
