Default If U Have Harvest Group of Companies Investments

If you have any investments with the Harvest Group of Companies, your probably aware four of them have been put into CCAA protection in December 2011.

Legacy Communities,Airdrie Country Estates,Foundation Place and Railside

Kyle Brown and a group of investors have set up a website to help with the flow of information to the investors and to help manage the vast number of investors.
Go you www.foundationinvestorsgroup.com and get your information on the site, so they can get together at a later date.

Well, I guess you win some you lose some with risky land investments. My $10K is probably gone. It kind of sucks, but then again, I had that feeling a year or so ago that this may happen. It was hard as heck to get info from the folks at Foundation Capital. I'm just glad I wasn't totally naive and put even more in at the urge of my ex gf's mom.

Yea we all got into this with great expectations, but Foundation/The Harvest Group of Companies seems to struggle with executing a plan, it's been five years with these investments and the bonds came due and the pots empty!!

The thing was, at the time (2007, before the whole economic downturn), it seemed like a solid investment. It wasn't like they were promising the moon. Calculated over 5 years, it was just a healthy return.

I knew I should have started to worry when I would ask about the current Airdrie corridor info, and instead of giving me more answers, they would try to sell me on their next project.

If you are invested in any of the four I mentioned, they are asking investors for their proxy to take back the land from Ron Aikens, if you haven't done that, you should get in touch with the UCC shortly.
Email them directly at savefccinvestors@gmail.com or check out their website at www.foundationinvestorsucc.com

You can view the video presentation of their meeting in Red Deer and you can join to get more project specific info and or past correspondence from the UCC.

Update:Harvest Group Class Action Law Suit .

Investors have launched a class-action lawsuit seeking to recover $500 million they put into a series of beleaguered real estate companies and related ventures promoted by a former Lethbridge pastor.

A statement of claim filed in Court of Queen’s Bench on Wednesday alleges hundreds of people invested their savings in a scheme that improperly siphoned millions of dollars to Ronald James Aitkens and seven other people named in the suit.

Agreed.

I've found a few fraud situations coming up where someone trusted someone else simply because they shared the same church.

If I were a fraudster, becoming an upstanding member of a congregation would be the place to start.

they are used to convincing the gullible, so I can see why it's a short skip from pastor to fraud.

Never trust anything that has "Group of Companies" in the name.
